Which version should you buy?

This page covers: Original DELTA Pro Ultra: one inverter and one 6,144Wh battery (DPU-US).

  • DELTA Pro Ultra, inverter and one battery

    This page

    Model: DPU-US

    What differs
Includes one inverter and one 6,144Wh battery, with 7,200W continuous output.
    Best for
Buyers starting a complete original Ultra system.
  • DELTA Pro Ultra, inverter and two batteries

    Model: DELTA Pro Ultra

    What differs
Contains two batteries instead of one; the maker calls it the 12kWh kit.
    Best for
Buyers needing longer runtime from the same inverter.
  • DELTA Pro Ultra inverter alone

    Model: DELTA Pro Ultra Inverter

    What differs
Contains the inverter without a battery; it must be paired with an Ultra battery.
    Best for
Owners adding an inverter to compatible batteries.
  • DELTA Pro Ultra battery alone

Model: DELTA Pro Ultra Series Smart Extra Battery

    What differs
Adds a 6,144Wh battery without an inverter. The current series battery supports Ultra and Ultra X inverters.
    Best for
    Compatible system owners adding storage.
  • DELTA Pro Ultra with Smart Home Panel 2

Model: DELTA Pro Ultra + Smart Home Panel 2

    What differs
Adds the home circuit panel for automatic backup; installation is required.
    Best for
    Homeowners wanting installed circuit control.
  • DELTA Pro Ultra with two 400W panels

    Model: DELTA Pro Ultra

    What differs
Adds two 400W portable solar panels.
    Best for
Buyers wanting a portable solar kit.
  • DELTA Pro Ultra X starter set

    Model: DELTA Pro Ultra X

    What differs
The newer system pairs a 12kW inverter with two batteries for the maker’s 12kWh starter configuration.
    Best for
Buyers needing more output than the original Ultra.

Watch out

  • A complete starter system needs an inverter and battery; inverter-only and battery-only listings are components.
  • The 12kWh original Ultra kit has two batteries, rather than one larger battery.
  • Ultra X is a different inverter generation. Its only candidate, B0G29PC9BL, is inverter-only and does not match the complete Ultra X starter set.
  • Choose a listing explicitly naming Smart Home Panel 2 when that panel is required.
  • Check solar-panel count; a listing mentioning a 400W panel does not establish the official two-panel kit.

Why people pick it

  • 7,200W continuous at 120V/240V; EcoFlow says one unit can run a 3-ton central AC
  • Up to 5,600W of solar, including a high-voltage input that works with many rooftop arrays
  • Expands to 30kWh per inverter and 90kWh in a three-inverter system
  • Listed by EcoFlow as UL 9540 certificated
  • Online UPS mode (0 ms) on its online-UPS outlets

Know before you buy

  • Two heavy pieces (70 lb inverter, 111.8 lb battery)
  • Not compatible with third-party inverters or DELTA Pro 3 batteries
  • Panel connection and rooftop-solar hookups need a licensed electrician (NEC rapid-shutdown rules apply to building-mounted PV)
  • Charging at 240V turns off AC output
