Affiliate disclosure
thisWATT is reader-supported: when you buy through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, thisWATT earns from qualifying purchases.
What that means for you
- You pay the same price whether or not you use our link.
- Affiliate links are marked for search engines as sponsored (rel="sponsored nofollow").
- This disclosure appears on every page with affiliate links, before the first link.
Programs we participate in
thisWATT is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We have no other retailer programs yet; any we add will be listed here.
Independence
- No brand or retailer can pay for a place in a guide, and we don't publish sponsored posts.
- Commission rates never decide a pick. Specs, safety listings, compatibility and value do.
- If we ever receive a product for free, the guide that covers it will say so.
Prices
We don't show prices. A price copied onto a page goes stale, and Amazon allows live prices only through its own approved tools. Every button reads "Check price on Amazon", and the price at checkout is the one that counts.
Outside the US
Amazon may send visitors from the UK or Canada to their local Amazon store (Amazon OneLink). The same disclosure applies there.
