Which version should you buy?

This page covers: RIVER 3 Plus, US standalone station, 286Wh (EFRIVER3Plus-US).

  • RIVER 3 Plus alone

    This page

    Model: EFRIVER3Plus-US

    What differs
The compact station has 286Wh storage and 600W rated AC output. Extra batteries and solar panels are separate.
    Best for
Light loads, short trips, or buyers choosing accessories later.
  • RIVER 3 Max: station + EB300

    Model: RIVER 3 Plus + EB300

    What differs
Adds the 286Wh EB300 battery for 572Wh total storage; AC output stays 600W.
    Best for
Longer runtime without changing to a larger station.
  • RIVER 3 Max Plus: station + EB600

    Model: RIVER 3 Plus + EB600

    What differs
Adds the 572Wh EB600 battery for 858Wh total storage; AC output stays 600W.
    Best for
The longest runtime in this stackable setup.
  • RIVER 3 Plus with 45W solar panel

    What differs
Adds a small folding solar panel to the same station. It does not increase battery capacity.
    Best for
A compact solar option for light use.
  • RIVER 3 Plus with 110W solar panel

    What differs
Adds a higher-output solar panel to the same station. It does not increase battery capacity.
    Best for
More solar input than the small panel bundle.

Watch out

  • Max and Max Plus add batteries for longer runtime; they do not raise the station’s rated AC output.
  • Solar panels, a solar charge cable, and an extra battery are different additions; check the selected package.
  • An extra battery sold alone is not a RIVER 3 Plus station. The RIVER 2 pair contains two different stations.

Why people pick it

  • Light at 10.4 lb and small enough for a desk or a gift
  • Under-10 ms UPS switchover plus PC/NAS alerts: a battery backup for a router or home-office gear
  • Full wall charge in 60 minutes
  • Grows to 858Wh with a stackable extra battery
  • LiFePO4 cells rated for 3,000 cycles to 80%

Know before you buy

  • 600W continuous: larger heating-type appliances rely on X-Boost (up to 1,200W)
  • 286Wh: hours, not days, for anything bigger than a router or lights
  • Solar input is capped at 220W
